Loading... Please wait...An intention is the focused direction of your thoughts that energetically permeate every cell in the body and are connected to everything else in the Universe. Intentions have the power to transform one’s state of being and in turn, affect all of humanity. It is a powerfully written statement that connects heart, mind and body. Unlike a goal, which is future thinking, an intention is a present moment declaration.
Intentions are most effective when written in present moment language. “I am bringing loving people into my work environment,” is an intention written in future language. “I bring loving people into my work environment,” has a subtle difference that allows for change to happen today.
Intentions are most effective when written specifically to fit a person’s individual desires. If you want to find a life partner, your intention statement can reflect that wish. “I bring love into my world,” is a fine intention statement, however, it’s very general. “I attract and bring forth through divine love a life partner that illuminates all that I am,” is much more specific.
Intentions are most effective when written from a stand point of what you desire, not what you wish to leave behind. “I let go of fear,” focuses the energy on fear. “I am a peaceful trusting person,” focuses the energy on peace and trust.
