I have always felt thet there was something special about these handmade belts...when you begin to feel a particular way about something, or an energy or good vibration about something, you are beginning to experience the divinity, purity and beauty that emanates from something masterfully created, divinely inspired..purely of essence. That's what I feel about these beautiful handcrafted embroidered belts. I look at these masterful craftspeople and know that there is great love in what they do. Surround yourself with beauty of this nature and you cannot help but feel good!

All of these belts are hand made by women's cooperatives in rural areas of Peru. The work is done according to fair trade guidelines; most of the artisans sew in their homes or at a communal studio workshop and are paid a living wage.

Each fair trade embroidered belt is a one-of-a-kind work of beautiful craftsmanship using a contemporary take on traditional Andean techniques. You are welcome to look at the extra images above and tell us what coloration you prefer and we will do our best to get one close!

In the images above, we have 3 images that are labeled Small Belts, Medium Belts,  or Large Belts. Each one has 3 belts shown A-B-C. You can tell us on check out, for instance,..I like the "B" belt shown on the photo with the medium sized belts. (It doesn't matter if you order a small belt...but like that coloration...it just gives us an idea of your preferences)

If you have no preference...that's OK too as they are all magnificent! You simply must be open to Pot Luck!

Base colors are black, brown, purple, blue, cream, olive, cranberry, and citron. (Not all of them are pictured here.) Embroidery is multi-colored with a large palette of blues, greens, purples, reds, oranges, pinks, etc.

The sizing is:

• small (fits 23"-31"),
• medium (fits 28"-37") and
• large (fits 34"-43").

Measures 1-7/8" wide.

As each Peru embroidered belt is unique and one-of-a-kind, our intention is to tune into the recipient of this beautiful handmade belt and send the belt that is most perfect for that individual!
